Leopards are one of the fastest cats in the world. Not only can they run at speeds of up to 36 miles per hour, but they can also leap almost 20 feet in the air in a single bounce. They are also skilled climbers, preferring to take a nap on a high branch during the hot part of the day.

Most leopards live on the African continent. Some of them are found in India, China, and central Asia.

Different fur colors are distributed throughout the various leopard species. Most people know of the orange-hued felines with dark spots. You can also find ones with black fur that don’t seem to have any spots at all.

These cats prefer to live a solitary life. They maintain individual territories, leaving scratches and scent marks to warn others to stay away. When leopards get hungry, they will eat anything from bugs to monkeys.

See various types of leopards on live webcams at zoos and in their natural environment. Leopards you may see include Clouded Leopards, Black Leopards, African Leopards, Amur, Snow, Arabian, Sri Lankan and more. Many of these cams will have streaming video.
