California Webcams

Mt. Whitney is over 14,500 feet at its summit and part of Sequoia National Park. Death Valley is 282 feet below sea level – and also one of the hottest spots in the country.
More people live in California than in the entire country of Canada. It is also one of the few states where non-white people are in the majority of the population.
It became a state in 1850, skipping the process of becoming a territory. The constitution is one of the most extensive collection of laws in the world, enabling citizens to participate in government through several different methods.
Only Texas and Alaska are bigger in size.
